Dr. Steve MacDougall has been my physician for a very long time. Physicians like Dr. MacDougall are exceptional. He is kind, considerate, pays attention to his patients, and has great bedside manners. He was there for my children and still is to this day. Dr. MacDougall is a true physician and a beautiful human being. If a patient is fortunate enough to be in the care of someone like Dr. MacDougall, they are truly fortunate.

I have been struggling with Fibromyalgia for several years now. Dr. Reza has been so supportive and understanding through it all. He goes above and beyond for his patients. I have worked in pharmacy for almost 20 years, and I can say from both sides, he is an amazing doctor. He works at the family clinic in Hubbards 4 days a week along with phone calls after hours. If that is not enough, he also works another full-time job collaborating with patients in pain and addiction. His passion to help people makes him an even better doctor. He works endless hours for his patients. He truly deserves to be recognized for his endless service to our communities. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Dr. Reza. We are lucky to have you.

I am so happy to have Dr. Costa as my family physician. She is so pleasant, is a great listener, and I can get an in-person or phone appointment in a timely manner. Though it is a bit of a trip to the city to see her, I would not change doctors even if I could get one locally. I will stay with Dr. Costa! She is the best doctor I have had in a very long time, and her Nurse Practitioner is nice as well.

We so appreciate Dr. Turner’s care. Recently we were able to drop into her practice for flu and Covid injections - she quickly and efficiently fit us in among her patients with appointments.  The Pomelo communication system that she uses allows you to interact with her and /or the office staff and you will hear back from them in a timely manner. We are so glad she chose Nova Scotia to practice.

Thank you, Dr. Rayson, for helping me through cancer - not once but twice. You are a special person, and I thank you very much.

After a long two-year wait for a new family doctor following the closure of my previous physician's practice, I was thrilled to discover my wait was finally over. Meeting Dr. Asha Dawson was a delightful surprise. Her charming brogue and thorough approach immediately put me at ease. Since then, she has consistently proven to be the best doctor I have ever had! Dr. Dawson combines empathy with an innovative mindset, always considering the latest research in her practice. She is not only attentive but also proactive in making referrals when necessary. Her warmth and professionalism shines through, making her a beautiful person inside and out. I feel incredibly fortunate to have Dr. Dawson as my primary care physician, and I truly believe that my health is in the best hands with her.
