Community guidelines
- We will remove patient shout-outs that are inappropriate, off-topic, include misinformation, are abusive or promote/solicit third-party websites. We will not tolerate personal attacks, racism, sexism, spamming or excessive posting. We reserve the right to remove comments that are not in keeping with our guidelines.
- We are not responsible for the accuracy of patient shout-outs that have been posted by the public.
Governing law
The laws in effect in the Province of Nova Scotia shall govern this agreement and any dispute or claim based on your use of the site or information. You agree that any action or proceeding relating to this agreement or your access to the site shall only be brought in the courts of the Province of Nova Scotia.

Doctors Nova Scotia believes you should understand how it uses the information you provide. Doctors Nova Scotia operates under the following set of strict privacy principles:
- This site does not collect any personally identifying information about visitors except when specifically and knowingly provided by such visitors.

Cookies

IP Addresses
An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you access the Internet. Doctors Nova Scotia collects IP addresses for the purpose of system administration, to report aggregate information, and to audit the use of its site. When visitors request pages from YourDoctors.ca, its server logs the visitor’s IP address. Doctors Nova Scotia doesn’t link IP addresses to any personally identifiable information. Although the visitor’s session is logged, the visitor remains anonymous. Doctors Nova Scotia can and will use IP addresses to identify the visitor when necessary to enforce compliance with site terms of use or to protect the association’s site and other visitors.
